Are our eyes an important feature?

everyone i meet compliments me on my eyes, litterly ..well they say "im beautiful" but that's total BS because I dont think so hah, but anyways..my eyes are just brown.. could it be my eyebrows or eye shape? big eyes? .. are eyes an important "beautiful" feature to have?
